Welcome to Kinyōbi
Kinyōbi means “Friday” in Japanese — the golden day that signals the shift from the everyday into something extraordinary. That’s exactly what Kinyōbi is: a space where food, sound, and design come together to awaken the senses.
The Experience
Kinyōbi is dining as sensory escapism. Every detail — from the warmth of the interior to the pulse of its curated playlists — is designed to draw you in. Born from Chef Will King Smith’s vision, Kinyōbi reimagines what modern Japanese dining can be — precise, soulful, and playfully bold. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a rhythm, a gathering, an escape.
The food is refined, grounded in Japanese craftsmanship and lifted by global curiosity. The design is intimate and glowing, the sound deep and soulful — together forming an atmosphere that feels at once elegant and alive. Kinyōbi gives guests an audio hug taking you on a journey of modern Japanese flavours.
Bar & Cocktail Lounge
At the heart of Kinyōbi lies its lounge — the city’s new meeting point for those who crave connection, rhythm, and flavor in equal measure.
Here, craft cocktails are built with the same precision as the food — Japanese spirits, seasonal infusions, and unexpected twists in balance. As night unfolds, the music deepens, the energy builds, and the space shifts effortlessly from dinner to something more electric.
Whether you come early for drinks, small sound bites, or stay for late dinner, the lounge is a place to gather, discover, and lose track of time.
Every week, from Thursday through Saturday, Kinyōbi invites 3 local selectors to take over the lounge from 21:30 to 02:00.
The Restaurant Space
Kinyōbi’s dining room is warm and textural — soft light, oak, linen textures, and hand-thrown ceramics that speak of touch and time. The design bridges East and West, tradition and tomorrow.
It’s a space that feels both intimate and expansive — a place where you’re equally welcome whether you arrive as you are, singular or in a crowd. Tucked between the open flow of the main dining room are smaller, secluded corners — quiet pockets designed for conversation and connection.
The restaurant’s generous layout allows groups to gather, filling the room with energy without ever losing the sense of closeness that defines Kinyōbi. And for those seeking privacy, a dedicated private dining section encircles a twelve-seat table, perfect for the more exclusive gatherings and long, lingering dinners.
Every seat is part of the story: from the buzz of the bar to the soft sofas that invite you to stay a little longer.
